Account Executive

Our Client’s mission is providing world-class marketing solutions – helping their clients connect with their consumers in unprecedented fashion. Well-established firm, a leader in Digital and Direct Marketing seeks a Sales Leader for the role of Account Executive.

YOU have a proven history of leading and managing large enterprise clients, in a competitive, dynamic, and evolving marketing space. As an Account Executive, you are the senior strategic lead on existing accounts, developing new clients and developing strategies to grow partnerships. You will engage with senior technical, operational and executive-level contacts at the client, and be expected to establish, develop, and deepen the relationships that will allow partnerships to grow. You must have passion and knowledge of marketing and the advertising technology industry, and the ability to explain the benefits of client’s digital ecosystem to clients

Responsibilities

  • Formulate account strategies that center on value creation and articulate value propositions to the client’s business to drive revenue
  • Partner with clients to design, iterate, and evolve joint, multi-year roadmaps that address client priorities
  • Work closely with the Engagement lead to ensure the retention of all key clients, and clear guidelines for the teams to support their accounts
  • Serve as the strategic lead and point of escalation for clients and your team in your book of business and pipeline
  • Work cross-functionally, activating key business units to ensure revenue goal achievement,
  • Lobby for product initiatives and data/technology/supply integrations that can contribute to the success of the clients in your book of business
  • Effective tracking of all activity in Salesforce

Qualifications

Background

  • 3+ years of strategic sales experience, ideally in the in online/digital/display advertising industry
  • Proven experience in with knowledge of digital advertising business

Skills

  • History of hitting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Deep knowledge of the online media business and technology landscape

  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships throughout all levels of client organizations with a track record of retaining key clients
  • Strong listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Personable, charismatic, and positive
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding, and fun entrepreneurial environment
