Conveyor Engineer - Manufacturing Process

This unique, well established size company has a high visibility opening for a talented manufacturing engineer with heavy industry experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Continually identify, evaluate, recommend and implement manufacturing process, design and quality improvements
  • Identify, evaluate, recommend, purchase, install new systems, processes and equipment necessary for an efficient manufacturing operation.
  • Recommend process flow and equipment or facilities changes to effect cost reduction or cost avoidance.
  • Assist in preparation of required documentation, reports, procedures and training to meet applicable safety, environmental and health regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for manufacturing procedures, instruction, and routings. Recommend and support training requirements as required.
  • Establish and complete action plans as required to meet Company's established objectives.
  • Prepare budget recommendations and adhere to authorized budgets. Be aware of and take advantage of opportunities for savings.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to improve Company processes and products.
  • Perform other assignments or duties appropriate to the overall responsibility of the position of Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Background with size reduction equipment, screening and processing machinery, material handling equipment, pneumatic conveyors, feeders, or reclaim equipment is helpful!
