Take the opportunity to join one of the industry leading electrical equipment manufacturers, located in Bucks County! You will be placed with a well-integrated team of manufacturing and electrical engineering professionals, given the role of Electrical Team Leader. The goal of the electrical team is to ensure all electrical/electronic equipment, both hardware and software, are calibrated to support the manufacturing team, with the goal of both increasing company efficiency and mitigating pollution to the surrounding environment. Salary is competitive and varies with experience and fit.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining Electrical applications
  • Engage with key stakeholders, internal and external, to understand user requirements
  • Engineer and design electrical/electronic hardware for new product development and product enhancements
  • Work with other development team members to allow them to implement the designs, including design and code reviews
  • Initiate and execute productive R&D efforts
  • Function as Electrical Team leader
  • Develop/support electrical and software aspects of equipment and systems used for calibration and testing within the Manufacturing and QA Departments

Qualifications:

  • High-voltage AC/DC motor driver controller design experience
  • C-language embedded microcontroller programming
  • PCB layout
  • Circuit board design, schematic generation and PCB layout (Altium)
  • Knowledge of electrical safety for high-voltage circuits
  • Prototype testing/debugging techniques
  • Embedded microcontroller/microprocessor programming in the C-language
  • Power supply and AC inverter circuit development
  • Software development: C, LabVIEW
  • Ability to multi-task and a desire to work in a "hands-on" environment
  • Proven communication skills and professional qualities such as initiative and organization
  • Effectiveness in team product development as well as performing assignments individually
  • Capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs.

Job Type:

  • Full-time

Pay:

  • $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Position requires 40 hours/5 days a week on-site

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay
  • Signing bonus

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience with electric motor and controller applications
