Electrical Service Manager

Due to tremendous growth, our client is seeking an Electrical Service Manager to play a vital role.   • 5+ years in the electrical trade
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of managing electricians and service technicians in a commercial electrical service & maintenance operation
  • Journeyman card
  • Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Applicant must be familiar with a variety of the electrical field’s concept, practices, best practice, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA, Uniform Building Codes and Lighting Systems where applicable


  • Manage the administrative and customer service functions of the Service Department
  • Maintain open and positive communication (both verbal and written form) with employees, customers and vendors
  • Organize and present weekly service technician meetings and safety trainings
  • Proactive and reactive management of all service personnel including hiring, training, motivation, career development, reviews and safety
  • Negotiate material pricing with vendors
  • Order material and schedule deliveries to jobsite or office
  • Establish & maintain a schedule for crews
  • Carry out additional job tasks or assignments as needed
