Take the opportunity to join one of the industry leading electrical equipment manufacturers, located in Bucks County! As a Manufacturing Engineer, the goal of this position is to support the Machine Shop and Assembly Shop with machining and assembly of a wide variety of components and electro-mechanical assemblies, which is accomplished through development and maintenance of effective and efficient manufacturing processes. Salary is competitive and varies with experience and fit.


  • Responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining manufacturing processes.
  • Create turning, milling, grinding, and gear shaping machining programs.
  • Analyze job costing and guarantee cost effectiveness.
  • Recommend capital equipment and lead a team effort to research, prepare, and present cost / benefit analysis.
  • Long-term plan for future projects and technologies.
  • Mentor Manufacturing Engineering and ship personnel as required.
  • Review new product concepts and designs for manufacturability by working closely with Design Engineering.
  • Effectively troubleshoot production floor issues.
  • Give technical support to outside machining and assembly suppliers as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and future technologies and manufacturing practices.
  • Daily interaction with other departments and outside suppliers in support of operations.

Experience and Other Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to design jigs, fixtures, and tooling using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D modeling CAD software.
  • Develop CNC programs using Mastercam or equivalent CAM software.
  • Skillful use and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Can organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing
  • Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
