Office Manager

Start-up American division of established German engineering firm seeks a versatile and enthusiastic Office Manager. Current small office will be experience rapid growth over the next few years. Need an organized, passionate and responsible generalist assist with all office duties. Responsibilities:

  • Help establish administrative routine and procedures
  • Answer phones and general email inquiries (call volume is limited)
  • Light financial reporting duties
  • General bookkeeping and financial data entry
  • Filing and other administrative tasks, as needed
  • Work closely with management to ensure healthy and smooth operation of our business
  • Produce Sales, Management or other reports and presentations
  • Organize travel calendars for senior team
  • Other general office management

Requirements:

  • Previous responsibility for a small office
  • Accounting/Bookkeeping
  • Previous experience with using a major financial ERP
  • Highly organized, motivated and effective
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office, accounting and/or ERP software skills (particularly Excel)
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environment and autonomy
  • Responsible, punctual, and professional
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn
  • Takes pride in their work
  • GERMAN fluency a great benefit
