Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead

Prestigious and established Professional Services Firm with convenient Center City location seeks a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead to fill a new role in their expanding finance group.

The Sr. Financial Planning and Analysis Lead will fill a key role within the Finance organization. This position will have responsibility for a wide range of activities including forecast consolidation and analysis, long-range strategic/financial planning, business scenario modeling and benchmarking, CFO/COO driven analytical requests, and presentation build and delivery. The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial competence, strong business acumen, executive presence and leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques, critical-thinking proficiency, and exceptional communication skills. Direct experience with a leading consulting firm (McK, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, etc.) viewed favorably. The candidate must be customer-centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives methodology and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support CFO/COO driven analytical requests and presentation builds for messaging key strategic direction and scenario alternatives in order to drive senior leadership engagement and decision-making Lead or support analysis on operational performance trends, industry / competitive trends and new business opportunities. Based on related analytical insights, develop and deliver recommendations/options to senior leadership Coordinate with operational FP&A teams in order to deliver all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and analytics in support of Americas Region Develop and manage a top down, real time, business model and related tools that can be utilized to provide insight into Asurion-specific scenarios Utilize financial modeling to support the organization in the evaluation of financial impacts surrounding strategic and operational business activities, as well as the identification of risks and opportunities Assist in developing short and long term goals and objectives, including cost saving initiatives Assist in the implementation / enhancement of financial and operational systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Financial or Business discipline with an MBA viewed favorably
