Tier 1 Application Support

We are seeking an experienced Tier 1 Application Support professional for our Wilmington, DE area office to provide end-user and partner support

As part of our Client Support team, the Tier 1 Application Specialist role is key to assuring the success and satisfaction of clients using company’s products. The ideal candidate will have some experience troubleshooting and solving customer issues, supporting Enterprise clients, have a willingness to learn Internet Application and Database technologies. While primary support responsibilities typically involve software, they will also include our hardware products and integration. This is not an internal IT support position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance as needed for troubleshooting and customer service
  • Provide first response to clientele for application and product support
  • Ensure technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Maintain and create documentation around technical troubleshooting and best practices
  • Provide input regarding methods to increase operational efficiencies and technical product improvements
  • Become internal expert on supporting company’s products

About You

  • Customer-friendly communication and attitude
  • Ability to multi-task and work with team to meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail - a problem solver
  • 1+ years in client support or related field
  • Database Technologies: SQL Server or other Relational DB familiarity
  • Microsoft Server and Network technologies
