The Applications Engineer will be part of the Applications Engineering and Support Team and will provide sales, service and implementation support. Client’s product lines utilize many technological areas including, mechanics, electronics, and high-performance computing, providing many exciting challenges for the Applications Engineer to solve. Client offers interesting work, dynamic, friendly and informal environment with excellent prospects to grow with the company.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work as a technical expert in the design and implementation including Software, Wiring and server configuration
- Provide remote and onsite support to customers and sales team
- Support company operations as needed through the Applications Engineering and Support Team
- Assist Training Personnel
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
- B.S. in technical field (All science and engineering fields).
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly, and to a professional level.
- Must be willing to travel 50% of the year.
- Experience with mechanical and electronics
- Experience with networking and networking components.
- Experience with Linux Operating System and using the command line.
- Experience with customer support.
- Experience with technical documentation.
- Experience troubleshooting complicated technical systems.
